PDF Announces New Members of the Board

Richard D. Field and Gregory H. RomeroOn October 24, the Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) elected two new members to its Board of Directors: Richard D. Field and Gregory H. Romero. Mr. Field, of New Canaan, CT and Hobe Sound, FL, is Co-founder of Lending Tree LLC, an online lending marketplace. Mr. Romero of Tuxedo Park, NY, is a Vice President of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM).

Mr. Romero, who has been active with PDF through leadership of its Celebrate Spring events, noted, “My father’s journey with Parkinsonism taught me that the disease is truly a family affair. Working with PDF, I am eager to involve the family members like myself whose passion can accelerate our progress towards the cure." NYC Volunteers Kick off Helping Hours

Helping HoursOn November 7, New Yorkers helped PDF to kick off its first in a series of Helping Hours, raising $1,300 for research! The event was led by volunteer chairs Chasen Mintz, Amy Sole and Jeffrey Zygler and welcomed 100 guests to Public House. Guests made small donations to enjoy a post-work cocktail and meet others committed to the cause.
