Motivating Moves for People with Parkinson's
Motivating Moves is a unique program of 24 seated exercises designed especially for people with Parkinson's. Exercises address typical Parkinson's symptoms such as stability, flexibility, posture, vocal range and facial expressivity. The program not only provides patients with a structured and carefully planned exercise program specific to Parkinson's, but also engages the patient in a motivating and fun exercise routine. The exercises can be done alone, with a caregiver or in a group.
The video is divided into three sections, "How to Do Motivating Moves" (45 minutes), "The Exercise Class" (36 minutes) and "Practical Tips for Daily Living" (4 minutes). It is set to the music of Julliard composer and pianist Robert Abramson. Motivating Moves is available for $14.95 plus shipping and handling.

This program consists of three sets of exercises specifically designed for PD patients. Each exercise is clearly illustrated in a 3-ring binder with flip-chart pages and includes two cassette tapes, which provide verbal cues and music for timing.
