Ms. Fox is a well-known public policy advocate in the field of early childhood education in Virginia. She is co-founder and longtime board member of Voices for Virginia's Children and former executive director and chairman of the board of directors of the Parent Child Development Center.
After her husband Carter was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2012, Ms. Fox helped start a monthly support group for care partners in their community.
She received her bachelor of arts from Hollins University and an Honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Washington and Lee University.
