Results! Meet the Artist Behind the Winning Calendar Cover

The votes are in! Which work of art will be featured on the cover of the 2014 Creativity and Parkinson's Calendar?

"Tulip: A Flame of Hope" Will Grace the 2014 Creativity and Parkinson's Calendar Cover

Tulip: A Flame of Hope

Thank you for responding last week when PDF asked for your help in choosing a cover image for the 2014 Creativity and Parkinson's wall calendar.

Amongst the five finalists, the community chose, image #5, "Tulip: A Flame of Hope," a photograph taken by Sandy Cohen of Alexandria, VA!

As Sandy says in her personal story on PDF's website:

"Why photographs of nature? I find an inner beauty in each individual flower, which gives me the strength to enjoy each day knowing that my disease will not 'win the battle' at this time in my life."

The calendar, now in its eighth year, is produced annually, and features works of art by 13 people living with Parkinson's. If you didn't already pre-order your copy, use the link below and a copy will be mailed to you by late September.
