How can you get involved with PDF in 2012? PDF and our new PDF Champions Ambassador, WNBA star Ivory Latta, invite you to join us in making a difference this year.

PDF is pleased to welcome WNBA star Ivory Latta, as Ambassador to PDF Champions, our program to generate awareness and fundraising at the grassroots level. A point guard for the Tulsa Shock, Ivory is spreading her message that all of us, no matter the size of our contribution, can make a difference in the Parkinson’s cause. She invites you to contribute in whichever way you can, whether it’s by wearing an awareness t-shirt or hosting your own fundraiser.

  • Join PDF’s “30 in 30” PDF Champions Challenge this April:  Last year PDF Champions raised funds during April, Parkinson’s Awareness Month through bake sales and other creative events.  Can you help PDF meet its goal of 30 events in 30 days in April 2012?   • Participate in the Parkinson’s Awareness Month T-Shirt Design Contest: This April, thousands of people could be wearing a t-shirt designed by YOU! See our regulations and submit your design by Tuesday, January 17. Learn More.
  • Get Ready for Parkinson’s Awareness Month: You can help this upcoming April by writing a letter to the editor, wearing a “Fight Parkinson’s” bracelet or hanging a poster in your community center.  Browse last year’s toolkit for tips and request an advance copy of this year’s toolkit, which will be ready for delivery by Wednesday, February 1.
