Jori E. Fleisher , M.D., M.S.C.E. , Assistant Professor, Neurology and Population Health, The Marlene and Paolo Fresco Institute for Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders, NYU Langone


Dr. Fleisher’s primary research interests include the development, implementation, and dissemination of novel models of care for individuals with advanced Parkinson’s and patient- and caregiver-centered factors can help people stick to their medication schedules.

Dr. Fleisher’s research has been supported by grants from National Institutes of Health, Parkinson Council, Edmond J. Safra Philanthropic Foundation, National Parkinson Foundation, Parkinson Alliance, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and the Feldstein Medical Foundation. She has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Fleisher received her medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She completed her neurology and global health equities residencies, movement disorders fellowship and masters in clinical epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania.
