Will You Accept Bob's Challenge?

As a person living with Parkinson's, I believe that April, Parkinson's Awareness Month, is a time for us to make a difference together. That's why, if you donate to PDF by Tuesday, April 30, I promise that your gift will be matched for up to $100,000 by the Light of Day Foundation.

Light of day challenge 2013

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1996.  Never a guy to sit idly on the sidelines, I wanted to do something that would make a difference – not just for myself, but also for the nearly one million other people living with Parkinson’s disease.

So at my 40th birthday party, my friends and I held a fundraiser for Parkinson’s research.  That gathering inspired the creation of the Light of Day Concert series.

That was 14 years ago. What began as a single concert at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ has now grown into 35 shows in twelve countries in the US, Canada and Europe. Over the years the concerts have raised nearly one million dollars for PDF's research programs.

I am a fortunate man.  I am able to continue doing what I love – bringing music and people together – while also making a difference in the fight against Parkinson’s disease.

You now have an opportunity to double the difference you make by contributing to PDF today.  If you do it before Tuesday, April 30, the Light of Day Foundation will match your donation, dollar for dollar.

PDF and I thank you in advance for your support!
