2008-2009 Educational Symposia and PDWebcasts
The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) is holding a series of educational symposia and webcasts that will bring Parkinson’s experts to four US cities to discuss the latest advances in research and treatments. PDF welcomes people with Parkinson's, caregivers, families and health professionals to hear the latest updates in PD science - straight from the leading researchers and clinicians in the country. PDF's 50th Anniversary Educational Symposium
The Parkinson's Disease Foundation presented its 50th anniversary educational symposium, Frontiers of Science and Clinical Advances in Quality of Life on Thursday and Friday, October 11 and 12, 2007. More than 700 researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, people with Parkinson's and caregivers attended. PDF Fundraising Events
PDF holds two to three events a year to raise money for Parkinson's research, while gathering together our supportive community. PDF's annual gala, Bal du Printemps, takes place every May at The Pierre Hotel. Click here to learn more about this year's gala. This year, PDF is proud to present a new event, Celebrate Spring!, which took place in April at Cipriani 23rd Street. The quarterly PDF newsletter, News & Review, is distributed free of charge to over 100,000 readers.
