Helping Hours

Are you looking to connect with others who care about the cause over cocktails?

Join PDF Helping Hours, signature events at which guests can enjoy a post-work cocktail while supporting Parkinson’s research!

Contact PDF at info@pdf.org to set up your own. Here's how it works:

  • Ask friends and family to make a small donation to PDF at the door (can range from $10 to $125).
  • Work with our team to find a local venue that can offer happy hour specials and businesses that can donate a raffle prize or two to your event.
  • Invite friends and family and let us help promote your event online.
  • Meet others connected to the cause while raising funds for research!

New Jersey

Co-chairs Amy Sole, Doug Stern and Stephanie Goldman-Pittel (pictured at left), raised more than $27,000 at their second annual PDF Helping Hours: An Evening of Vodka Tasting held on March 4, 2015 at Harvest Bistro and Bar in Closter, NJ. More than 100 guests enjoyed a special tasting of select Double Cross Vodkas and Basil Hayden's Bourbon, gourmet food stations, a silent auction and a cigar rolling station. The co-chairs led the event along with committee members Cheryl Phillip, Melissa Stanislaw and Julia Weksler.

New York

On November 7, 2013, New Yorkers helped PDF to kick off its first Helping Hours, raising $1,300 for research!

The event was led by volunteer chairs Chasen Mintz, Amy Sole and Jeffrey Zygler and welcomed 100 guests to Public House in NYC (see photos at right). Guests made small donations to enjoy a post-work cocktail and a lucky few won raffles items from local businesses such as Chelsea Piers and Flywheel.

Thanks to all who joined!
