Viewing Live Webcasts

Q: Are webcast viewers given the same opportunity to ask questions during webcasts as people attending the event in-person?
Q: Why am I asked to complete a survey at the end of the webcast?
Q: I need technical support during the live webcast.  Who can help me?

Q: Are webcast viewers given the same opportunity to ask questions during webcasts as people attending the event in-person?

A: Yes, we are able to field questions from web participants and present them to the speakers during our live webcasts only.  You will notice each webcast includes questions from our web viewers as well as members of the live audience.  To ask a question during a live webcast, write in a question in the box on your screen that reads, “Your Question” and click send.  Make sure the “to” field reads “presenter.”

Please keep in mind that due to time restraints, we cannot answer all questions and are only able to answer questions that relate to the speaker’s topic. If you have other follow-up questions or questions about PD unrelated to the presentation, please call PDF’s helpline at (800) 457-6676 or use our online Ask the Expert service.

Q: Why am I asked to complete a survey at the end of the webcast?

A: Your input is important to us, so that we can continue to improve our events.  The aggregate results of the evaluations from each event are shared with our presenters and also with the staff responsible for the design of the event and the technical aspects of the webcast.   We welcome your evaluations and appreciate your taking the time to complete them.

Q: I need technical support during the live webcast.  Who can help me?

A: If you experience problems viewing the webcast on the day of the event, please call Netbriefings technical support hotline at (866) 225-1532 (option 3), or on the webcast viewer page, write in a question in the box that reads “your question” and click send.  Make sure in the drop down menu “to” line, you choose “support.”  That question will reach the technical support team, and allows them to walk you through your problem.
