Fiscal Responsibility

PDF understands how important it is that your donation is used in the most effective way.

In recognition of the integrity of its programs and finances, PDF has been awarded both the Charity Seal of Approval from the Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities.

In 2007, 58 percent of our budget was dedicated to research, 15 percent was used to provide educational materials, information and services to the Parkinson's community, and 5 percent was dedicated to advocacy. That means that only 22 percent of our total budget is used for management and fundraising.
