PDF on the Web: Updating the Site
Whether you are a frequent visitor to the PDF website www.pdf.org or someone who has yet to discover it, get ready to see some exciting new additions.
We're working hard to improve the quality and accessibility of the information we provide on PD for patients, families and caregivers. Almost daily, we post news about the latest discoveries in Parkinson's science. We also frequently provide commentary on stories to help patients and families gain perspective and insight into PD news. You can also stay informed about Parkinson's by signing up to receive our monthly news email bulletins. Go to www.pdf.org/en/join_list to sign-up when you next visit the site.
Our "Ask the Expert" feature, a section that allows visitors to ask a PDF physician any question relating to Parkinson's disease and receive an answer in no more than 10 days, is more popular than ever. If you have a question about PD, why not ask our experts? You can also visit our "Expert Resource Center" to review hundreds of frequently asked questions and answers about Parkinson's listed by category.
Keep an eye out for new sections on the site - including a forthcoming section on clinical trials and a new "Fact Sheet" area with downloadable information sheets on topical issues.
We hope that these improvements will encourage more people to visit and enjoy this important aspect of our patient support and education program. Your feedback is crucial in helping us to "get it right," so please feel free to write us or email email@example.com with any questions or comments on how we can serve you better!
