Chicago-Area Call for Patients

Physicians at Northwestern University are seeking individuals diagnosed as having Parkinson's disease to participate in one of their clinical research studies. If you are between the ages of 40 and 80, and the onset of your symptoms has been within the past five years, you may be eligible to participate.

STUDY ONE: If dementia (difficulties with thinking and remembering) is being experienced, an investigational medication is being studied to treat these symptoms.

STUDY TWO: Is PD in your family portrait? The PROGENI research study, funded by NIH, is looking for brothers and sisters with Parkinson's disease.

If you feel you might qualify for one or both of these studies, please call (312) 503-2593 for more details. Qualified participants will receive all study-related procedures free of charge and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
