Q:I was diagnosed as having PD about 7 years ago. I am now 52. I have been doing well with my medications (Sinemet, Mirapex and Symmetrel) but since I have been on these drugs, I have been having dental problems. Q:Has there ever been a study that connects dental fillings (i.e., mercury in amalgam) to Parkinson's disease? Would removing the fillings reduce the severity of the symptoms (tremors, etc.) and/or prolong the length of time for the symptoms to become worse? (anonymous)Show Answer
