Q:My Mother, age 74, has PD. She was diagnosed five years ago. She is now complaining about her eyesight: that she is not able to see things. My Father has taken her to the eye doctor several times and she has been fitted for glasses. Yet she still insists that she is unable to see. Is this part of PD? Or could she be losing her sight for another reason?Show Answer

Q:My husband has PD, early stage, young onset, and one of the biggest obstacles is his eyelids get stuck in a closed position. The light especially effects his eyes, they close, and he then has to actually peel them open. Is this associated with PD? medication? ???Show Answer
Would drops help since his blinking is so diminished? His eyes can stay shut for long periods of time. Thank you for you response. (anonymous)
