Q:My Mother has been diagnosed with PD, but she is convinced she does not have it. She has been suffering from depression for many years and believes her shaking is to do with the nervous system. And I wonder if she has PD as I have known her to shake most of my life. We don't live in the same country and she has no family support. She is a nurse and has a lot of medical experience. Q:My husband, age 59, was diagnosed with PD in June. His main complaint was a tremor on the right side. Recently we have noticed he is very gruff and defensive. Very reactionary. We have been very supportive. When I tried to talk to him and ask him about it, he claims he is not angry. He refuses to go to a support group or talk to anyone.
