Q:How important is early treatment? My family thinks my 34-year-old brother may have Parkinson's but he thinks he's fine. He has difficulty speaking and keeping his balance. He has to hold onto something to get to a standing position and fell down a few steps at my house. I didn't notice any symptoms when I saw him two years ago. He went to his primary care physician who checked his reflexes and said they were normal and now he won't go to a neurologist. He's single and doesn't have family close by to support doctor visits or maybe just doesn't want to know.Show Answer
