Q:My spouse suffers from PD and one of his symptoms is retropulsion. This had caused him to fall several times, both with the use of a walker and without, resulting in physical damage. He has shattered his hip twice and had to undergo surgery twice within ten months. He has had physical therapy, including gait and balance training. What else can be done to help him? (LR)Show Answer

Q:My dad is 79 with Parkinson's. He has many of the typical signs of the disease but the big problem is he falls and has had 20+ stitches twice recently. What type of helmet can we get to help him? He has a large head so many are too small. Thank you. (PF)Show Answer

Q:My mother is 84 years old and is slowly but consistently losing her mobility due to her progressing Parkinson?s. My father cannot help her get up if she falls. She wants to get a scooter so she will have more freedom of movement. I know the theory is "use it or lose it" but at this point does it really matter?Show Answer
