Q:My father has just been diagnosed with Parkinsons disease a few days ago. He has all of the symptoms that your website talked about. He was a farmer for over 40 years. I have heard that a specific chemical that is used in the agricultural industry has been linked to Parkinson's disease. Are you aware of this, and if so what is the name of the chemical? Q:I am an Operating Room R.N who worked with Ethylene oxide sterilization in the 60's, where items were room aerated and staff was exposed to fumes. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 3 years ago, and have no family history of it.Show Answer
Could this Ethylene Oxide exposure be the cause? Have other medical personnel come forward with recent Parkinson's diagnosis? (anonymous)

Q:How is Parkinson's disease diagnosed? My fiance experiences muscle stiffness and constant soreness, especially in his hands and legs and neck. He says this started several years ago. He also has "spasms" at night while he sleeps - his hand will twitch or sometimes his whole body shakes. He's not aware of them when they occur. Sometimes, the spasms are nearly constant. Anyway, he has been unable to find any relief from these problems.Show Answer
