Q:My father is taking levadopa and carbidopa four times a day. I read that vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) can interfere with those drugs. Is this true? Is there a certain dosage of these vitamins that are okay? Can you recommend a daily vitamin supplement for someone taking Levodopa /Carbidopa that still includes the other B vitamins? Q:I am a 69-year-old female. My drugs(Sinemet and SinemetCR) are no longer providing much relief for my tremors and painful rigidity. I have not been able to tolerate other medications.
