I was diagnosed with early-onset PD some fifteen years ago and I had been showing symptoms since I was about 25.
People often think that PD is "merely" a movement disorder. It isn't. The sense of depression and anxiety can be overwhelming.
I wrote the song "Sea of Shadows" when I was starting to fall apart. The song can be heard at:

Sea of Shadows
Count each digit one by one
Stars go on forever
Like tired years
Like lonely lives
They go on forever
The moon is so lonely tonight
I can feel it staring through my window
I’m searching for something desperately
But all I see is a sea of shadows
Press your fingers against my skin
Feel my body tremble
I think I’m alive
But I’m not sure
If this is really living.

P.S. I can only thank my doctors who keep patching up and somehow keep me going. I would also like to thank my friends who are there through thick and thin. Special thanks to Júlia Barón for helping me finish the lyrics to this song.
