Share Your Story

I was diagnosed at age 43. After the initial shock, I found that with medication I could live a relatively normal life. Then in 2006, it all came home. The meds stopped working and every day became a struggle just to survive. I found myself having to sell our third generation family business. Now at age 57 I am going on at a much slower pace. I am now learning to make every day count and to trust in God. My family gives me great support and the combination works great. For me this is a small bump in the road of life that I will get past. I try everything available and the experimentation keeps me going. Therapy, exercise, foods, new medications, and prayer all are the key to survival. All I can say is do not try this at home it is not for the week of heart. Live each day at a time and do not lose sight of your objective we all can make it...Posted by Bil Palmieri on July 01, 2009
