People with Parkinson’s Advisory Council
In spring 2006, PDF launched the People with Parkinson's Advisory Council (PPAC) to provide the patient perspective to our program development and priority setting.
PPAC members serve on the Council for two consecutive two-year terms and advise PDF on its work in Parkinson's research, education and public advocacy. Their efforts provide PDF with perspectives on research-funding priorities, community needs and ways to better serve people living with Parkinson's through information and education programs. PPAC members also represent PDF within the local PD community and attend relevant conferences and meetings.
