April Challenges
We need the support of PDF Champions all year round. But during Parkinson's Awareness Month, which is marked each April, we have special ways for you to get involved.
College Campus Challenge
Are you a child or grandchild of a person with Parkinson's? Are you looking for a good cause for your sorority or fraternity? College campuses are a perfect place to hold PDF Champions events.
Each April, during Parkinson's Awareness Month, participants in teams of two or more are invited to hold events on campus to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s research on any day during the month. There are two grand prize winners at the end of the campaign:
- one for the most creative fundraising idea
- one for the most funds raised

Schools Help Tulips Bloom for Parkinson's
Are you a student or teacher passionate about Parkinson's research? Through the Tulips Bloom program, we invite you to get involved with PDF Champions. The Tulips Bloom program shows students that everyone can make a difference in the fight against Parkinson's!
There are many ways for your school or class to join. PDF's goal is to have 30 schools participate in either an awareness day or small fundraiser during the month of April. To register or receive a list of activity ideas please contact us today!
30 in 30 Challenge
30 Events. 30 Days.
Each April, during Parkinson's Awareness Month, PDF invites people with Parkinson’s, family members and friends to participate by holding their own awareness-raising and fundraising events.
We are happy to report that in 2012 we met our goal of 30 events in 30 days! Thank you to all who participated. Interested in next year's challenge? Contact us or read about our other Champions to find inspiration.
