Ready to Call Congress Tomorrow?

The Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) has received another important update from the Parkinson's Action Network (PAN) about advocating for critical research funding.

From PAN:

Tomorrow, November 14, is National Call-In Day! If you haven't already done so, contact your friends, family, Facebook and Twitter networks and ask them to call on Congress tomorrow to protect funding that offers promise for better treatments and a cure!

What's "sequestration" and why should I call tomorrow?

Unless Congress acts before January 2, devastating across-the-board cuts, also known as known as sequestration, will slash $2.5 billion in critical research funding that goes toward finding better treatments and a cure for Parkinson's and many other diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Tell a Friend!

PAN is the voice of the Parkinson's community in Washington, DC. In fiscal year 2013, PDF is supporting PAN with a grant of $200,000.
