Philadelphia Resident Climbs Mt. Kilimanjaro This Week to Raise Funds for Parkinson’s

Rachel Isenberg is in East Africa preparing to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, to benefit the research programs of the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF).

Ms. Isenberg, a PDF Champion, is committed to raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s because the disease has affected her family members. PDF Champions are individuals, families and organizations that have shown incredible dedication to Parkinson’s research, education and advocacy by making PDF their charity of choice. 

This is Ms. Isenberg's fourth “summer challenge” to raise funds through the PDF Champions program.  Ms. Isenberg is in Tanzania and will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro by the end of the week.
