2011 Creativity and Parkinson's Calendar Now Available!

PDF is pleased to present the 2011 Creativity and Parkinson's calendar, celebrating artwork created by people living with Parkinson's disease (PD).

This calendar is part of PDF's Creativity and Parkinson's Project, an initiative that seeks to explore, support and encourage the possible therapeutic value of creativity in Parkinson's.  Research has shown that creative activities - such as painting, singing, sculpting, dancing and even exercising - may temporarily ease symptoms associated with Parkinson's.

In 2011, the work of 13 artists - all with their own unique style - are featured in the calendar, and over 2,000 people voted to decide this year's cover image.
