Watch Today! Last Month's PD ExpertBriefing About the Secrets, Myths and Misconceptions of PD is Now Available Online

On September 29, the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) hosted its first PD ExpertBriefing entitled, Parkinson’s Disease and Its Treatment: Secrets, Myths and Misconceptions.  If you were not able to attend, or you’d like to catch some details you missed, you can view this one-hour webinar in full, on PDF’s website.

Listen and watch as Melissa J. Nirenberg, M.D., Ph.D., of Weill Cornell Medical College, answers questions such as: What are the "invisible symptoms" of PD?  What causes PD symptoms to suddenly worsen?  What is the optimal way in which to take PD medications?  Hundreds of people living with Parkinson’s, family members, caregivers and allied health professionals tuned in to the live event and you can hear the questions they asked during the interactive Q&A session.

This event was the first in a six-part series of PD ExpertBriefings - free interactive and educational events available live both by computer and by telephone. The next event will take place on Tuesday, November 17 at 1 PM ET.
