Find Out About a New Exercise Program for People with Parkinson’s by Joining Janet Hamburg on the Web-Radio Show “Travels with Parkinson’s”

Janet Hamburg, a Registered Movement Therapist, Certified Laban Movement Analyst and a Professor of dance at the University of Kansas, will join Leonard Casavant on his web-based radio show “Travels with Parkinson’s” for a live interview on February 10, 2004, at 10 a.m. (EST). Janet will be talking about a new exercise program, "Motivating Moves for People with Parkinson’s” which she co-produced with the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.

Motivating Moves, which is available in video, DVD and in international videotape formats, consists of 24 seated exercises that target common Parkinson’s symptoms by emphasizing diaphragmatic breathing, spatial awareness, flexibility, sense of balance, vocal range and facial expressivity.
