PDF Extends Hours of Toll-free Helpline

Have you or a loved one recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD)? Are you adjusting to life several years into your diagnosis? Do you need help finding a physician?...managing your medications?...or finding a support group?

All of these questions, and more, can be answered PDF’s Parkinson’s Information Service (PINS). The PINS program consists of both a toll-free helpline and an online service, aimed at addressing your concerns.

PDF is pleased to announce that due to its popularity and need, the PINS toll-free helpline, (800) 457-6676, has extended its hours and is now available from 9 AM – 6 PM ET.

The helpline puts you in contact with PDF’s information specialists who have a wealth of knowledge about Parkinson’s-related treatments and symptoms. Additionally, our team keeps comprehensive listings of physicians and support groups all over the country and can help refer you to local resources.

Please visit at www.pdf.org ask to learn more about PINS. PINS is managed exclusively by the Parkinson's Disease Foundation and is supported, in part, by Boehringer Ingelheim.
