Dr. Connie MarrasRebecca Gilbert, M.D., Ph.D., is Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology, Pathology and Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center, and NYU Langone Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders Center.

In addition to caring for people living with Parkinson’s disease as a movement disorders specialist, Dr. Gilbert is involved with a variety of research studies in Parkinson’s.

Dr. Gilbert received her medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University and her doctorate in cell biology and genetics at the Sloan Kettering Institute. She completed her residency in neurology and subsequently, a fellowship in movement disorders at the PDF­-funded program at Columbia University Medical Center.
