Your Photos of Parkinson's Awareness in Action

How can we show the impact of Parkinson's to the world? You're already doing it. Get inspired by these photos as we close week two of Parkinson's Awareness Month.

One of 30 Ways to Raise Awareness

PDF has been inspired by how you are making a difference this April ... especially the photos of your awareness displays such as the ones below. These displays raise awareness and provide the latest information about Parkinson's disease.

How can you create a display?

  • Make it Festive and Educational:Order free materials from PDF here. We have free brochures and fact sheets about Parkinson's, stickers, posters, postcards and tree ribbons. You can also rent a block of the Parkinson's Quilt here, which always brighten a display. If you like, click here to purchase this year's official Parkinson's Awareness T-Shirt, car magnets and wristbands to decorate.
  • Choose a Prime Location: Contact your library. Do they have an area or glass display they use for these types of activities? Will they work with you to create a display table so that those visiting the library can learn more about Parkinson's? Check out community or recreation centers or churches and approach them with the same option: a simple table display.
