Run the Scenic Big Sur International Marathon with PDF Champions
- Jan 11 2013
If you've been "California Dreaming" AND want to make a difference in the fight against Parkinson's disease, then you're in luck.
The Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) is excited to announce that it is forming a six-person team to run the Big Sur International Marathon in Big Sur, CA on Sunday, April 28!
The marathon, which was twice voted the "Best Destination Marathon" by Runner's World magazine and by the Ultimate Guide to Marathons, spans 26.2 miles along the scenic Pacific coast. With California's Highway One as the backdrop, just over 3,100 runners will make their way through the redwood forest, up Hurricane Point and cross Bixby Bridge. The race sold out its 3,150 slots in a record 26.2 hours.
By becoming a PDF Champion, you can be a part of this magical race and help raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease. PDF will work with you every step of the way, providing tips, resources and guidance on how to meet your fundraising goal and inspire others.
