Couple Run Marathon for a Good Cause

By Jim Anderson

Angie Seiberlich of Mahtomedi and her boyfriend, Bruce Kammen of Inver Grove Heights, planned to run Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth to raise money for the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) in honor of Seiberlich’s father and brother-in-law, who both live with the disease.

Seiberlich is a pediatric speech therapist and avid runner. Her sister Libbe and her brother-in-law, Kim Erickson of Stillwater, already volunteer with PDF as research advocates. Inspired by their efforts and her father’s diagnosis, Seiberlich was motivated to take on her first full marathon for the cause. Kammen was dedicating his 30th marathon to making a difference in her family’s honor.

They had exceeded their $1,000 fundraising goal by race day. To support Seiberlich’s fundraising efforts, visit their personal fundraising page at
