Participant Information

I'm a 69 year old woman. Since I was a girl, I had interest for music and ballet. My mom wanted us to enjoy art.

I participated in every show at school. After High School, I started working with pre-school children and I really enjoyed to teach arts, craft and music.

When I first got the Parkinson's diagnosis, I listened to music as a therapy. It made me feel connected with myself.

In those moments of sadness, I realized my hands could create little stories, could build and paint.

Because I can create and do different things with my hands, I know my mind is still working. My artwork make me realize that my mind is healthy.
