I've always enjoyed doing handwork, and using up left over yarn is always a problem. I decided to learn Nantucket Rug Hooking to solve this problem. Of course, I do buy yarn for my projects whenever need to. This sampler rug was completed in March2011. It's done of jute backing with wool yarn. I really enjoyed making this rug. Working with my hands helps control my tremor. And making something beautiful and useful at the same time makes me feel like I'm still accomplishing something. My art projects are very important to me.
