Fourteen years ago, at 51, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. But along with this hardship came a "gift" - I became creative.
In eleven months, I wrote five manuscripts with the first being published. I've since written four more. I also enjoy writing short stories and poetry.
Then, I took up a desire to paint. My paintings consist mostly of still life and beach picture using shells I collect.
My husband says it is like being married to a different person. I've questioned him as to which he likes best. So far, he hasn't decided. Wise man!
