Essay:
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2004, at about age 52. My tremor is on the right side and is interfering with my ability to be precise. Consequently, in an effort to turn lemons into lemonade, I am incorporating the squiggles into some of my art, particularly my ink drawings.
Art is an activity that brings me a satisfaction like no other. I draw every day, no matter how I feel. If I don't do it, I feel empty.
