I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease two years ago in the summer of 2009 after turning 57 years old. I’ve always enjoyed writing poetry and short stories. Writing helps me to express my emotions, relieve stress and gives me peace.
I have been working as a volunteer and advocate for many Parkinson’s organizations since I was diagnosed.
