Albert Eaton (1933 - 2004)
My father, Albert S. Eaton, who passed away in February 2004, began writing poetry when he began to slow down physically due to PD in the early 1990s.
He had numerous exchanges with politicians, friends and newspaper columnist Richard Lederer over the years as a result of his poetry and limericks written about them or about issues involving them, along with many other subjects he wrote about.
While poetry served as a wonderful creative outlet for him, it enabled the rest of us to enjoy another side of him as many of his writings were full of his humor, warmth, wit, intelligence and positive outlook on life.
