I had been a “nuts and bolts” engineer and not that artistic – that is, until my diagnosis. Although I have Parkinson’s, it does not have me. Making masks from gourds and feathers has been an escape and quiets the tremors in my hand.
Parkinson’s helps to focus one’s priorities: life is short, eat dessert first.
