New Greeting Card Website to Raise Money for Parkinson’s Disease Research

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2002. Being 46 years old, I was taken completely by surprise.

My wife and I started a greeting card website featuring my photography to raise money and awareness in order to accelerate finding the cause of and cure for Parkinson’s disease. Every dollar counts and I hope that my photography will have appeal. In addition, I noticed that other similar causes use greeting cards to raise money but I couldn’t find a dedicated greeting card site for Parkinson’s in the U.S., so it seemed like a natural fit. The proceeds will be donated to the Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN). We chose PAN because of its diversity. PAN supports the National Parkinson’s Foundation, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and others. PAN is the leading voice for patients in Washington, D.C., working to bring much-needed awareness to the public and lawmakers about the effects of Parkinson’s disease.
