Tom Gorman
I was born in Baltimore in 1947; graduated from Penn State with a BS in business; MBA from Maryland; served two years in the Army; worked in corporate business; spent 13 years with own business.
The first signs of PD were tremors in my left hand - shook papers I was holding for a presentation to a customer. September 17th, 2001 - was formally told I had "classic" case of PD; have seen symptoms increasingly taken over my abilities to move.
My wife and 3 sons (29, 27 and 13) are supportive. I have always liked reading and writing. Are there any other frustrated F. Scott Fitzgerald's out there? I'm currently writing a screenplay regarding Parkinson's that is a fictional account of a middle-aged executive "fighting" indications he has Parkinson's.
