SLOW DOWN
Slow down.” “Think big.” This was the advice my therapist gave me as I struggled to make my handwriting legible. It aggravates me to know that I cannot read my own writing.
I have lived with Parkinson’s Disease for over ten years. Before the diagnosis, I had been a writer. I loved the easy way words seemed to flow from my brain to my fingers and on to paper.
Parkinson’s brought my writing days to a halt and so I turned my creative talents to an old love: watercolor painting. Now I paint whenever I can. I try to find the luminous color that underlies each day
Slow down, Think big. Good advice for all of us!. Slow down and look for rainbows in mud puddles. Think big. Keep your perspective.
