I have been an artist all my life. PD brought big changes to my life, but making & creating is a constant, a place where I can continue to function well.
When I was first diagnosed, I started to look at older people more, to notice them, to think more about the processes of aging and the way it is portrayed.
Without PD I would not have done this, would still have been in denial of my own aging. This has helped move me to a place where I can be creative in a new way that has to do with simplicity and directness, both in technique and content.
