Parkinson's is the challenge of a lifetime. It is an insidious trip into the darkness with no predictable outcomes.
Art is beauty; art is love; art allows us to exercise our creativity, giving us strength, optimism and joy. Art allows us to make something out of nothing, to create a world with the characteristics that please us, that calm us, the recognition that there is still great beauty in the world.
It seizes the very real challenges by painting, by dancing, by photography and by the poet's words placed in ideal juxtaposition with each other.
Parkinson's will not succeed in erasing all that art brings us. We celebrate our art to let the world know we will not give up; we will never give up (with comfort from good people in my life.)
