If not for PD I would not have discovered my artistic abilities. When insomnia and depression plagued my daily life, I turned to experimenting with image manipulation on the computer using Adobe PhotoShop.
Having written about visual communications for the bulk of my almost three-decade career as a writer, I was pleased that I was able to do something which was both creatively and spiritually fulfilling.
The PD has made my writing career difficult to pursue, and I've been forced to go on disability. But thanks to my art, I have a challenging and satisfying way to spend my days as well as an opportunity to embrace another way of making a living using my imagination and creative energy.
