I am sixty-three years old and was diagnosed with Parkinson's twenty-one years ago. In all that time, I have never asked the question, "Why me?" It's because I already know why.
Parkinson's disease, in my case could be considered a gift. Forced to retire because of this disease, I was able to develop many god given talents, such as drawing, writing, poetry and playing music.
With the ability to share this talent with others that are disabled. It has brought a lot of joy and inspiration to many people including myself.
