Susan Miller
Since my body can shut down at any moment, I am often overwhelmed with stress.
By writing about Parkinson's disease, I cope with the physical and emotional aspects of living with a chronic illness.
I receive personal satisfaction by sharing my day to day experiences through stories and poems and hopefully can educate health care professionals and others whose lives are touched by this crippling, debilitating disease.
I appreciate the precious moments when my body is cooperating with my brain allowing my free spirit to come out and be creative for a little while. I humbly respect the chronically challenged and do not take anything in life for granted. Coping with Parkinson's since age sixteen, Susan Miller
