The more that Parkinson's disease has affected my speech, the more compelled I feel to find other ways to express my feelings.
I never understood the NEED to write or paint before. Now there are times when I feel that I absolutely must use one of these outlets, even though I may not understand what I'm feeling or what I need to express.
It also doesn't necessarily matter if it makes "sense" to others (although I do feel honored when someone likes my work).
